Growing up, I always enjoyed the art of storytelling. It could be through roleplaying, books, films, or video games. Each captured the idea of a story in their own fashion and the experiences of those adventures became a part of me. Wanting to be a part of those stories, I would write my own version to include myself. That bit of fanfiction developed into creating my own characters and the worlds in which they lived. It is a fun creative activity where I can take thoughts, emotions, and ideas and develop them into something new. It is exciting to see people, places, and plots take shape where before they were simply a thought jotted down.  

 

I currently reside in Idaho with my wife and daughter where I am pursuing a career in creative writing.
